How do I know how many watt-hours I need?
One of the questions you might be asking yourself right now is whether this will really work for your needs. In this case, we'll do a little math, and it's quite simple. First, how many devices or appliances do you want to power? Then, add up the wattage of each item and multiply that by the number of hours you need them powered. Finally, allow for an approximate margin of conversion efficiency.
Example: A prolonged power outage occurs, and you need to keep a refrigerator running for at least 4 hours (a high-capacity refrigerator can use up to 200Wh). In this case, you will need a power source of slightly more than 1000Wh. The ratio is (200 x 4), so a PS2400W / PPS2400W or M5000 generator will be able to compensate for that power, and with a surplus, you can power other devices, for example, a TV, charge mobile devices, etc.
